Dr. Delal Atmaca is Managing Director and Co-Founder of DaMigra e.V., the umbrella association of migrant women’s organisations in Germany, which advocates for equality, participation, and empowerment of women with migration backgrounds. She studied law and cooperative economics and holds a PhD in economics. Throughout her career, she has served on the boards of WeiberWirtschaft eG, Migrationsrat Berlin e.V. and ISI e.V., an initiative for self-employed migrants. Dr Atmaca has extensive experience of academia as a lecturer and is recognised as an expert in cooperatives, diversity, migration, gender and women’s rights. She regularly presents on these topics at national and European policy levels.
