Lizbeth Guerrero Ramírez

Lizbeth Guerrero Ramírez is a Venezuelan lawyer, human rights defender and director of the NGO Apoyo a Migrantes Venezolanos in Mexico, an organization that advocates for the rights of migrants and offers legal support. Having been forced to flee Venezuela, she relocated to Mexico, where she has continued to work in human rights advocacy and refugee rights. Lizbeth has become a member in several local and regional working groups that focus on human rights and migration, having worked along UNHCR. Prior to leaving Venezuela, she was a pro bono lawyer at the NGO Foro Penal Venezolano, a Venezuelan organization that provides free legal assistance to people subject of arbitrary detentions and human rights abuses. Additionally, she worked in various ministries and government positions.
