Vlada Krasova Torres

Vlada Krasova Torres is a transgender refugee woman from Nicaragua who focuses her activism on intersectional feminism and transfeminism. She oversees the Advocacy Commission of the Feminist League of Political Refugees of Nicaragua and is an advisor to the feminist collective Escarlata, made up of diverse young women and adolescents. She works in the culture sector of the Regional Office of UNESCO San José and collaborates with the Arias Foundation for Peace and Human Progress on issues of leadership and gender aimed at Nicaraguan migrant youth. She has been a columnist on various platforms and trainer in human rights, gender and public policy.
