Action Network on Forced Displacement

We are the Action Network on Forced Displacement – Women as Agents of Change, a global platform promoting the self-representation of displaced women and feminist leadership. 

Launched in 2020 by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), our network brings together women in all their diversity from various countries and backgrounds. It unites efforts to make the voices of millions of displaced women and other marginalised groups heard. We work to strengthen their rights and opportunities for political, economic and social participation. By combining grassroots engagement, policymaking, and inclusive leadership, we demonstrate how to enable meaningful participation. We also demonstrate how to empower displaced women and other marginalised groups to become agents of transformation.
