Lublanc Prieto is a lawyer and the founder and general director of the Refugiados Unidos Foundation in Colombia. She came to Colombia as a refugee from Venezuela. There she works as an activist for the protection of human rights, international protection for asylum seekers and refugees in Colombia, and for the empowerment of women refugees and migrants. Lublanc advocates for changes in public policy and strategic litigation before various institutions and courts in Colombia and internationally. She is a member of the Red Los Buenos Somos Más of the City of Bogotá and coordinator of the legal aid program Corporación Opción Legal of Javeriana University. She is a board member of the Global Strategic Litigation Council for Refugee Rights and a member of the Resourcing Refugee Leadership Initiative.
