Sana Ali Mustafa

Member and Movement Leader and Former Chief Executive Officer at Asylum Access (Syria/USA)

Sana Ali Mustafa is a feminist human rights activist and a movement leader in the forced displacement sector. She was the Chief Executive Officer of the NGO Asylum Access from July 2022 to March 2024. After having fled from Syria to the US, Sana led the establishment of global initiatives for the representation and inclusion of displaced persons, such as the Global Refugee-led Network. Prior to becoming the CEO of Asylum Access, Sana was the director of partnerships. Sana also runs her own consulting business supporting public and private sector organizations on refugee rights and refugee leadership. Besides this, she is a public speaker and member of the Karam Foundation as well as the Syrian Women’s Political Movement.
